1. Fish
Fish are very high in fat especially heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids. It has been a fad now a day to take fish oil supplement. Although fish has high fat content it has good fat which is very beneficial for heart health, skin, hair and many more things.
2. Egg Yolk
Unlike egg white, yellow part of egg is very high in fat and cholesterol. 1 egg yolk has around 180 mg of cholesterol which is around 60% of the recommended daily intake. Also, most of the calories (around 60%) come from fat.
3. Nuts (Almond, cashew, Pista, walnut)
All nuts are high in fat. But the fat it contains is healthy one which is good for controlling obesity, heart disease and type 2 diabetes. Nuts are also high in vitamin E and loaded with magnesium, a mineral that most people don’t get enough of.
4. Coconuts
Coconuts are very high in medium-chain fatty acids, which are metabolized differently than other fats. They can reduce appetite, increase fat burning and provide numerous health benefits.
5. Dairy Products (Milk, cheese, paneer, curd)
Most of the milk products are high in saturated fats. But it also contains good amount of calcium and protein so it’s difficult to ignore it from our diet. Good thing is that low fat version of most of the dairy products are available in the market
6. Dark Chocolate
Chocolates are very high in fat, with fat at around 65% of calories. Mostly chocolate contains good fat which is monosaturated fat. This fat is important for brain function and your immune system. It also contains good amount of fiber, iron, magnesium, copper and manganese. It is also loaded with antioxidants.
7. Meat
Most animal fat is composed primarily of saturated fatty acids (unhealthy one) and red meat is no exception. In fact, red meat is higher in saturated fat than many another types of meat. But, the good news is that lean cut of all the meats is available which is low in fat and high in protein.
8. Peanut Butter
Peanut butter is made with peanuts which are very high in good fat. Hence you could see most of the fitness conscious people buying peanut butter in the super markets.
9. Avocado
The Avocado is virtually the only fruit that has monounsaturated fat which is a "good" fat that helps lower bad cholesterol, as long as you eat them in moderation.
10. Oil, ghee and butter
All the three consist only fat. The logic is to eat these fats in moderation since fats are very high in calorie.
